Ray & Nina: Engagement

It was at their engagement shoot where I learned Ray-- who is humorous, fun, and charming-- could not easily persuade Nina to exclusively be his. Six months of casual dating and one year of agreeing in just seeing each other romantically, they are finally set to embark on their most exciting adventure yet: marriage.

Ray is a close family friend and I'm genuinely happy he has found love in an incredible and sweet woman. We had a blast at their engagement session and I enjoyed getting to know Nina better. Spending a beautiful day in the Salt Lake Avenues for their engagement session was the perfect start to what's shaping up to be a perfect wedding day.

Engagement: Michelle & Uiti

I absolutely love engagements. For this very reason...the tangible emotions expressed in Michelle's face. Extreme Love and an overwhelming feeling of Happiness. I felt it that day, just as I can feel it through these pictures. She absolutely loves him and he truly adores her. In the most perfect way.

Michelle has been a dear friend of mine since college. She is so sweet and gentle. This has always been my wish for her. I love you Chelle and I am so happy for you both!

Benson + Hannah: Engagement

High school sweethearts who were on again, off again and as TRUE LOVE would have it...these two love birds finally found their way back to each other FOR GOOD--or I should say--for eternity. Marriage is a beautiful thing and I'm so excited to see Benson and Hannah make that big step. Congratulations and ALL the best in your adventures together!

Rissa + Franklin

Can you imagine growing up with a second set of parents and three additional sisters? Well that's how it was between our family and the Tafiti's. When we first moved here from Hawaii, they were my parents first friends. At the time, they had three girls and their were three of us girls. It was an instant friendship that soon turned into a family bond. There are so many people that fall into that "I grew up with" category, but we literally grew up with the Tafiti's. Every family vacation, every school break and holidays were spent with the Tafiti's. When my parents were ready to purchase their first home here after moving from Hawaii, the Tafiti's found a home right behind their backyard that would solidify our lifetime friendship. Til this day, there are wooden steps that lead from their backyard to my parents backyard. Now, everyone has taken on new challenges in life but we have remained close, real close...as sisters!

Rissa is the baby and the one everyone protects, especially Sala (lol). She is the last of us six to be married. It was an honor to shoot her engagement session. I am grateful to know that she is truly happy and has found her Prince. Frank is a sweetheart and I take comfort in knowing that she will be taken care of. You are a BEAUTIFUL couple. Welcome to the family Frank. I love you both!
